Geoff Kopecky, DDS

I have been practicing orthodontics for over 20 years. In those years, I have gained a wealth of experience and developed my artistic eye for individualized optimum aesthetic results. It is my goal to have excellence through passion, academics, and artistry. My greatest reward is improving my patients’ lifestyle, making them look better and feel better about themselves.

Education and Continuing Education

I graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. My orthodontic training was received at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, where I was president of my class. I completed a fellowship in hospital-based advanced dentistry at Strong Hospital-Eastman Dental Center and Genesee Hospital where I was appointed to the children’s department of craniofacial anomaly and maxillofacial surgery/cleft palate team for three years.

Experience

I have been a clinical instructor for the post-doctorate general practice residents at the Eastman Dental Center where I coordinated both medical and dental multi-specialty care. I have been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and am involved in numerous professional organizations, including the:

• American Dental Association
• American Association of Orthodontists
• Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics

Most recently, I have been recognized as a “Top Doc San Diego” by Channel 5 Fox News, as voted on by my peers and patients.

Outside the Office

Besides creating beautiful smiles, I enjoy traveling, mountaineering, sailing, skiing, playing tennis, and photography.
